HOW TO ALLOW EJAMMING THROUGH YOUR

windows 7 AND 8 FIREWALL

IMPORTANT: Even if you successfully port forward port 26000 to your eJamming computer, your Port Status can still be BLOCKED because your firewall is blocking eJamming

VERY IMPORTANT:  Do NOT shut off your firewall.  Your firewall needs to be ON to let UDP audio packets reach eJamming.

If you configure your computer's firewall to allow eJamming packets through your firewall and your Port Status STILL remains BLOCKED, then your Router (or Router/Modem) can also have a firewall built in that is blocking UDP packets.

Usually, you can configure your Router or Router/Modem's firewall by clicking SECURITY on your Router's Control Panel.  Log onto your router via your browser, CLICK the SECURITY tab, then the FIREWALL link and Choose DISABLE (see the PORT FORWARDING tab on this topic for how to access your router).

If you need help with your Router's internal firewall, email techsupport@ejamming.com to set up a one on one support session.

We recommend using your WINDOWS FIREWALL and disabling Norton and other firewalls when using eJamming.

Here's how to configure

WINDOWS 7 and 8 Firewalls:

If your Firewall is already turned ON, Windows will ask you if you want to allow eJamming through your Firewall.  Say YES.

If your Firewall is OFF, here's how to set up your Firewall for eJamming:

CLICK "START" and then select "Control Panel"
