EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SET UP AND USE EJAMMING

HOW TO RECORD OVERDUBS IN VRS MODE:

The LEADER changes the Session Mode from "Jam" to "VRS" mode enabling a number of new commands and controls.

The LEADER should first create and name a NEW FOLDER where s/he will save the song, then name the song using the "File>Save Song As" command on the eJamming Menu.  This will save the song and all of the tracks to be recorded in its own folder.

The name of the song will then appear in the Song Title bar on the top of the Session View (currently called "Untitled" in the diagram).

[NOTE: If the LEADER uses the "START NEW SONG" command, that will erase all tracks on all seats so the LEADER should only use this command after completing the recording of a song and the Session Members want to work on a new song].

The LEADER should set the BPM, the key and time signature by clicking the EDIT (e) command next to the key signature display atop the Session view (see eJamming Controls for details).

Each member who joins the session should also CREATE and NAME a NEW FOLDER on their own computer where they will save the song and use the "File>Save Song As" to name and save the song on their computer.

[NOTE: The other Session Members can name the song and song folder whatever they want].

The LEADER should label each track by the instrument being played so that the saved tracks will be identified by their parts.  (See eJamming Controls for details).

The CLICK TRACK can be turned ON or OFF by CLICKING the "ON" button under the CLICK label on the transport level of the app.  "ON" and "OFF" cycle with each CLICK of the button.  The Click Track Volume can be adjusted by CLICKING on the "CLICK VOLUME" knob next to the ON/OFF button.

[NOTE: Each member controls the Click ON/OFF and VOLUME LEVEL on their own app].

RECORDING ON EJAMMING:

         Setting Up "VRS" Mode

Traditionally called "overdubbing", eJamming's add-a-track/TRACK BY TRACK style recording

is ONLY available in eJamming's VRS (Virtual Recording Studio) mode.

Only the member who CREATES the Session (called the "Session Leader") can CHANGE the

session mode from "JAM MODE" to "VRS MODE".
