NAME your session in the "Session Name" entry frame.


Tell other members what kind of music you want to play in the session by ENTERING

text in the "Session Description" window.


Designate the instrument you play by ENTERING that text in the "Instrument" entry frame.


CLICK "Create and Join Session" to create the session.

[NOTE: If the Session Settings dialog window doesn't appear, CLICK "HOME" on the Navigation bar and back to "SESSIONS". It will appear.]

To CREATE a session, CLICK the green "NEW SESSION" button:

You'll find it at the top of the eJamming app right above "HOME" on the Navigation Bar:

Once you log into the eJamming Lobby, you can CREATE or JOIN an eJamming session, which is where members connect to play together.

To add an OPEN SEAT where any member can join the session, leave the radio button next to "Open Seat" (its default position).  

If you want to specify the Instrument you want to take that seat, enter the text in the "Instrument" frame for the Instrument you want in that seat  (like "Guitar" or "Drums" or "Vocals") and CLICK "ADD SEAT".

To add a RESERVED SEAT that can only be occupied by a specific member, CLICK "Reserved Seat" and the radio button will move to Reserved Seat and the Screen Name frame will be enabled.  

ENTER the Screen Name of the eJamming member in that frame and CLICK "ADD SEAT".  

[NOTE: You MUST spell the screen name and capitalize it EXACTLY as the member's screen name is listed with eJamming. For instance, "ThunderPup44" must be entered exactly that way]:

The new seat will be created and the "ADD SEAT" button will appear below the newly created seat so the LEADER can add another seat to the Session.

​UP TO 4 SEATS CAN BE CREATED IN A SESSION, INCLUDING THE LEADER'S SEAT.

ADDING SEATS TO YOUR SESSION:


After the LEADER creates the session 
and it launches, the Session window provides
​a tool to add seats to the session:
​CLICK the
"ADD SEAT" button.




The "SEAT SETTINGS" dialog opens:

 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SET UP AND USE EJAMMING 

[NOTE: If anyone in a session has limited bandwidth, the LEADER can change the Session bandwidth by clicking the "High" or "Medium" or "Low" radio button to the bandwidth required.  


Once the session has been created, the LEADER can change the bandwidth by OPENING eJamming Preferences, 

CLICKING the "SESSION" tab and CHANGING the Bandwidth setting.


A SESSION LEADER can add up to 3 additional seats (plus their own) to a session, but each seat you add requires each member to have an ADDITIONAL 0.2 Mbps upload bandwidth for each seat added.  Members can test their UPLOAD bandwidth at www.speedtest.net ]
