EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SET UP AND USE EJAMMING 

  BASIC SETUP FOR eJamming:


a) A computer
    Windows

      XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 (Pentium 3 or higher, 512MB RAM)

    Mac

      OSX Panther / Tiger / Leopard / Snow Leopard / Lion / Mountain Lion / Mavericks
        Intel-based processor, 1.6 GHZ, 1 GB RAM 

      (NOTE: eJamming no longer supports Apple Power PC computers)

b) A microphone (either internal or external)
        On Windows computers, your mic needs to be ASIO compliant

             (CLICK "ASIO and ASIO4ALL" on the "Connecting Your Gear" tab above for info)

c) An Instrument (unless you're a vocalist)


d) Headphones (preferably noise-cancelling) connected to the audio output of your computer's soundcard or to the audio output of an audio interface.
  Do NOT MONITOR your audio locally; monitor your audio as it comes out of your eJamming computer's sound card or external audio interface; that's how we keep you in sync with the other players in your session.


e) Cables and adapters to connect your microphone and/or your instrument to your computer's sound card (CLICK OPTIMAL SET UP for info on adding a mixer and audio interface to your eJamming set up)

f) Broadband internet connection

        A MINIMUM of 0.4Mbps UPLOAD for two-location sessions

        A MINIMUM of 0.8Mbps UPLOAD for four-location sessions.
